|AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY DEPARTMENT OF COLORADO
EMPOWERING WOMEN, INSPIRING COMMUNITIES
In the spirit of service, not self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by
enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens,
mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
The vision of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion while becoming the premier service organization and foundation of every community
providing support for our veterans, our military, and their families by shaping a positive future in an atmosphere of fellowship, patriotism, peace and security.

Hello, Colorado Auxiliary Sisters!
When President Peggy Thomas was recently in Korea, she spent time in the Demilitarized Zone and found
our soldiers there had significant needs. Among other items, those troops lack personal computers.
To help fill that need, the Department of Colorado has been challenged by Virginia Nelsen, our NW
Division National Security Chair, to quickly contribute to this effort. She's sent us a check for $25.00 to
kick-start our initiative.
If you are able personally, or your Unit is willing to contribute any amount to this cause, please remit
checks to Colorado Department Secretary-Treasurer Rhonda Larkowski at our Headquarters,
